Copperfield Neighborhood Association
September 13, 2004
CALL TO ORDER: 8:15 by James Wagers. The following board members
were present: James Wagers-President, Laura Marlowe-Secretary, Susan
Potter-Treasurer, Mark Yates-Property Manager, and Charlie Gancio-Social
Director, and Larry Young.
MINUTES: September 7, 2004 Minutes reviewed. Motion to
approve minutes by Charlie Gancio, Second by Mark Yates. Approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
- $2,800.00 still due for
2004 CNA dues
- $1,400.00 still due for
2003 CNA dues
- Central Bank Account as of
September 13, 2004 is $58,410.63.
- Total Forecasted Income
for 2004 is $93,036.25.
- Actual Year to Date Income
is $91, 892.50.
FACILITIES COMMITTEE:
- New doors for the front
and back entrances of the Clubhouse to be installed in a couple of weeks.
- 2004 Review of
improvements and maintenance, all up-to-date per Mark Yates.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE:
- Charlie Gancio reviewed
events for 2003-2004 which included the following:
- Halloween Costume Contest
- Vendor Fair
- Christmas Party
- New Years Eve Party
- Super Bowl Party
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Consignment Sale
- 4th of July
Parade and open pool date

OTHER BUSINESS:
- James discussed the
application to be presented to city this week for a $10,00 Matching Grant
for the Neighborhood.
- James opened the floor for
questions, two of which were:
- Can the board do a
blanket e-mail to all households in the neighborhood that they have
e-mail addresses for to remind them of upcoming neighborhood events?
- Explanation was requested
for the payment of the $5,500 property tax bill paid this year.
- Eight candidates were
identified for the 2004-2005 Board elections.
- Candidates were given an
opportunity to speak
- Ballots were passed out
and election results were counted.
- The following volunteers
were elected to serve on the 2004-2005 Board:
- James Wagers
- Charlie Gancio
- Mark Yates
- Jim Pauley
- Gene Ferguson
- Susan Potter
- Beth Fletcher
- The new Board members were
announced.
- New Board will determine
positions (Officers).
