December 21, 2003
CALL TO ORDER: 4:15 by James Wagers. The following board members were
present: James Wagers-President, Laura Marlowe-Secretary, Larry
Young-Facilities Chairman, Mark Yates-Property Manager. Others present:
Jeremy Scarbrough, Carol Martin.
MINUTES: November 24, 2003
Minutes Approved. Motion by Larry Young, Second by Laura Marlowe
FINANCIAL REPORT:
- Ending Balance:
$28,830.00.
- Accounts
Receivable-$6,847.22
ASSOCIATION DUES:
- Billing for 2004 will go
out during the first week of January and be due by February 1, 2004.
- Names have been posted on
the Website for those neighbors who have not paid their 2003 Association
dues. Liens have not been filed yet.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
- Drop Box: moving forward.
- Key Box: Hanging in the
CNA storage closet.
- Gathering information on
the cost of repairs for the clubhouse due to recent vandalism.
- Motion by Mark Yates for
approval of a $100 reward for the information on person or people responsible
for the clubhouse vandalism. Second by Larry Young. Approved.
- Repairs to be done ASAP.
- Gathering costs on
Entertainment Unit for the Clubhouse to house the Big Screen TV and
equipment with locking doors.
- Motion by Mark Yates to
relieve Dellavalle of their management responsibilities of the Clubhouse
and have the Facilities committee to manage until the first of the year or
as soon as we can contract with another source. Second by Laura Marlowe.
Approved.
- Larry Young looking into
motion detectors and perimeter lights for improved Security.
FACILITIES COMMITTEE:
- Motion by Larry Young to
accept the following people to the Facilities Committee: Carol Martin,
Susan Potter, Dwayne Stephens, and Jeremy Scarbrough. Second by Mark
Yates. Approved.
- Still reviewing
respondents to the RFP for a Pool Management Contract.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE:
- Motion by Laura Marlowe to
award $75.00 prize money to the three winners of the Holiday Lights
decoration contest for a total of $225.00. Second by Mark Yates. Approved.
- Motion by Larry Young to
reimburse James Wagers $555.00 and Larry Young $60.00 for holiday lights
they purchased for the neighborhood decorations. Second by Mark Yates.
Approved.
- Meet the Mayor at 7:30 PM on 12/22/03 will be an
open forum neighborhood friendly gathering.
