2004 POOL MEMBERSHIP
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Swim Club Members (Members) and guests must register at the gate before entering the pool area and must present membership cards to the guard on duty.
2. Membership shall be open to members in good standing of the Copperfield Neighborhood Association. (Good standing means that the $200.00 yearly maintenance fee is paid). If new homeowners wish to join the pool/club in mid season, prorated membership dues shall be allowed.
3. Memberships to residents of other neighborhoods may be admitted upon payment of pool membership fees as determined by the Facilities committee and CNA Board.
4. Guest passes are available to Club members for an unlimited number of guests at a rate of $5.00 per day per guest. No guest passes will be issued to Copperfield residents. All guests must come from outside the neighborhood and be accompanied at the pool by the member.
5. Any member of the neighborhood may use the pool facilities at a cost of $10.00 per day per family. A limit of two visits per season per household is allowed if not a member of the Club.
6. Free neighborhood swim days are Memorial Day, July 4th and any other day designated by the CNA Board.
7. Swimming in shorts, jeans or other non-bathing attire will not be permitted. No Cloth or disposable diapers will be allowed.
8. Children under the age of 12 shall not be left at the pool area unattended. This rule will be rigidly enforced. If any doubt occurs as to the child’s ability to swim, the lifeguard on duty may ask the child to leave and to be accompanied by a parent or adult on future visits.
9. The wading pool is for the benefit of children six (6) years and younger who must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person in the fenced wading pool area.
10. Only one person at a time will be allowed on the diving board. The area in front of the board is for diving only and there will be no swimming in front of or under the board. Diving or jumping from the sides of the diving board will not be permitted.
11. Dunking, wrestling, running, towel flipping, and other forms of behavior thought to cause potential harm to pool attendees by authorities on duty are not permitted and will result in disciplinary action being taken.
12. Children using swimming aid products must be under strict parental supervision.
13. Willful defacing or destruction of property will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate suspension of pool privileges. Members will be liable for loss or damages caused by them or their guests.
14. Glass bottles and glass containers are prohibited within the fenced area.
15. Pets are prohibited except for seeing-eye dogs.
16. The Club is not responsible for lost articles or accidents or injury to members or guests using the facilities.
17. All personal possessions are to be removed from the pool and dressing room areas at the end of the day.
18. Members are fully responsible for the conduct of their children and guests while on the premises. Failure to cooperate will result in suspension of the member from use of all club facilities.
19. Adults are responsible for cleaning up when food or snacks are brought into the pool area. This is not the lifeguards’ responsibility. Please be cooperative and help us keep the pool area free of drink cans, food, and food wrappers.
These rules and regulations have been made with you and your family’s safety as first priority. Occasionally, incidents may occur that are not specifically outlined in these written rules and regulations. Therefore, the Manager On Duty has the authority to make daily decisions concerning the application and/or interpretation of the rules and regulations, staff responsibilities, procedures and the handling of such incidents that may or may no be specifically addressed in written form. Every effort will be made to insure your safety and your families’ safety and enjoyment of the facility.
